We have achieved the singularity wherein Michael's intelligence surpasses that of his dear, floundering father. The only thing preventing the ill-fated dominance shift is experience and Michael seems intent on gaining that as fast as possible too; the end is nigh!
Wayyyyy too much to catch up on since the last post so, in the words of Inigo Montoya, "...let me sum up."
We just moved Michael into his new room, onto his new "big boy" bed. Aiden should be following into his own room very shortly.
Michael pulled a piece off the faucet and put it down the drain so I've got to go digging for that at some point...
Michael & Aiden KEEP GETTING SICK! Ahhhhhh! Right now Aiden has a bunch of sores that we think is Hand Food Mouth Disease, and Michael just had a random fever, but no sores. Yesterday Michael slept, literally not leaving his bed, until 4:30pm!
Michael makes it very hard to find effective punishments because he calls almost every bluff without hesitation, it's essential to be constantly prepared with a list of things to negotiate with or he'll sense it and pounce, taking full advantage of your weakness. Okay, I'm being a little dramatic because it's 2:30am again...but it's actually pretty well accurate.
Michael says he's interested in violin lessons so at some point we'll get that started...there's a place in Port Orchard that rents out 1/8 size violins and provides lessons to kids Michael's age.
Michael loves his little brother, and he's a pretty good big brother for the most part too. :) It's so sweet to watch Michael bring Aiden toys, help him play with a toy, or play him a song with his guitar.
Now I'm struggling to remember all the things I wanted to record :( I'll try to update again soon...
