First Christmas
We took Michael to Grandpa P's on Christmas eve eve and Allison and Darius came up on Christmas eve for dinner and presents.
Michael liked cottage cheese for a while but then started spitting it out. Michael had fun with the packaging for his presents.
We took Michael to Immaculate Conception for 5pm Christmas Mass and he was great. He loved listening to the singing and the bells ringing. At one point he slimed Grandpa's cheek with a wad of snot and a puff got stuck to Grandpa's cheek and people in the row behind us thought it was hysterical. Dad had a friend, Julie (?) sitting next to him that he was playing peek-a-boo with and he loved to tear up the programs. Michael liked the plastic Christmas tree at immaculate conception and the fire pit.
Michael said "More" after eating a pound of food and we thought he was done.
We went to Grandma and Papa Bianchi's and he had gotten a bit better at unwrapping presents. He enjoyed playing with his blocks and tent. Papa put a hoop over him and he stayed in the circle very well for some reason...though he would move it wherever he wanted to go. Michael and Jake started to get along much better for the most part but he still barks randomly and scares Micheal. Michael began barking like a dog "arf, arf". Michael and Great-Grandma Johnstone had a blast hanging out together though she wasn't feeling all that well.
Michael attacked Mom's sleeping bag thinking she was still inside it but she had gotten up...he just threw himself on the poofy bag and was confused there was nobody there.
Michael was entranced by Papa's guitar playing, couldn't get enough of that.
Michael met Great uncle Bruce :)
And for the second time Michael got to see snow falling and thought it was fascinating.
Unfortunately Dad had to go to work but Michael and Mom went to Grandma and Grandpa Curtin's where he met Kjerstein and Preston with their kids Nicolas, Caleb, and Lydia. Michael was trying to chase after Nicolas and Caleb as they ran around the house which led to a couple good walking attempts, usually ending in nearly falling on little Lydia. Watched a bunch of people sled down the hill.
Michael started twirling himself on the jumper and danced to lots of Christmas music particularly enjoying the applause of the audience. Mom went to Star Wars E7 so Michael hung out with Grandma and Grandpa and they chased each other around the chair.
More presents and getting even better at unwrapping those after all the practice.
